BIOGRAPHY:

Dr. Simone Maurea is working as Associated Professor, Diagnostic Imaging at the Università Federico II, Italy. He completed his PhD in Nuclear Medicine at Università La Sapienza. He is author and/or co-author of a total of 270 scientific publications, of which 154 meeting presentations and more than 100 full papers; more than 30 invited lectures regarding heart imaging as well as endocrine-oncology imaging; Referee of several scientific journals and is the winner of 6 scientific awards.



RESEARCH INTERESTS:

Dr. Simone Maurea’s research interest includes Diagnostic Imaging with particular attention to clinical body applications of MRI and Nuclear hybrid imaging in Endocrinology and Oncology.
