BIOGRAPHY:
Dr. Jun Ni is working as an Associate Professor and Director in the department of radiology, Carver College of Medicine at the University of Iowa, US. He also hosts professorship in biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, and Computer Science, and life science informatics program. He received his Ph.D. of ME from the University of Iowa in 1991 and postdoctoral training at Purdue University in 1994. He served as an honor professor at Shanghai Jiaotong University, Harbin Engineering University, Shanghai University, and Chair Professor in Sanda University, respectively. He has authored over 120 scholarly papers and has held many editorial positions.
RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Dr. Jun Ni enthusiastically involves many research projects mainly in power population systems, thermo-fluid mechanical systems, materials processing, parallel computing, scientific computing, nanotechnology, medical imaging, and computational medicine and medical informatics, and healthcare informatics, and big data for healthcare.
