BIOGRAPHY:
Dr. Guey Chuen Perng is currently working as an associate professor at Department of Microbiology and Immunology, National Cheng Kung University and at Center of Infectious Diseases and Signaling Research, National Cheng Kung University. He completed his PhD in Microbiology at University of California, Davis. He published various articles in international journals.
RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Dr. Guey Chuen Perng research is mainly focused on understanding the pathogenesis of disease development during viral infections and the innate host response to these infections and Dissecting the dynamic interactions between viruses and a susceptible host factor, which may result in a dire consequence, is the methodological approach to achieve the goal.
