BIOGRAPHY:
Dr. Hani Mansour is currently working as Associate Professor at Water Relations and Field Irrigation Dept., National Research Centre, Egypt. He worked as teaching assistant in National Research center from 2012 to 2016 for courses like irrigation techniques, micro irrigation, Soil Properties monitoring, condition and tillage, Crop Roation ETC. He had completed Ph. D in Agricultural Engineering, Plant & Soil and Agricultural Engineering Department, Southern Illinois University at Carbondale (SIUC), and Ain Shams University. Egypt. Master’s in Agricultural Engineering Department, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. He had done 3 postdoctoral missions as following:
1-Visiting Scientist at KU-Leuven University Belgium from November 2016 to February, 2017 under title of “AquaCrop Model for improving Field crops under salinity conditions”
2-postdoctoral, visiting scholar at Purdue University working on “Using Modelling and Simulation Programs in Irrigation Management under Localized and Developed Irrigation Systems” at ABE Department, Purdue University, USA period from July, 2014 to January, 2015.
3-Visiting scholar as postdoctoral program at SZIU, Godollo, Hungary, in April, 2014 for 6 months it was a complete scholarship from Hungarian Scholarship Board (HSB), starting from October, 1, 2013 to April, 6, 2014 the research program was under the title of “The Effects of Drought Conditions and Water Management on Moringa Oliveara Trees a Several Medication Purpose” at Agricultural and Environmental Faculty, SZIU, Godollo, Hungary.
He got Postdoctoral Scholarship award from ABE, Faculty of Agriculture, Purdue University in 2015, he also achieved Research outputs and NRC Pioneer Award, NRC, Egypt in 2014. In my PhD dissertation and my published research papers I have used the modeling and simulation computer-programs many times for lab and experiments, data analysis, writing and turning in notes and essays. Dr. Hani Mansour has computer skills for communicating with one another and conducting library catalog research and web research. He published 41 articles, presented 3 oral presentations, 2 Posters, 1 Book chapter titled “Performance of Grapevines under Sustainable Irrigation Systems” and Published 3 Books.
RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Dr. Hani Mansour interests include: models of the water management; water Productivity; drought tolerance; drought deficit under irrigation systems or under drought conditions.
