BIOGRAPHY:
Dr. Erich Cosmi received Medical Degree with summa con laude at the University of Rome, “La Sapienza”. He worked as an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Sassari (2001). He did Ph.D. in maternal and Fetal Medicine at Virginia University Health System. He worked as an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at University of Padua School of Medicine (2014). Professor of Maternal Fetal Medicine at the Residency School of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Padua. 2004 Professor of High-Risk Pregnancy in the school of midwifery at the University of Padua. Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the residency School of Pediatric Surgery at University of Padua (2010). 2011 Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Residency School of Legal Medicine at the University of Padua. Prizes received from his fellows: 2010 The Y.W. Loke New Investigator Travel Award abstract “Metabolomic Profiling of Cordon Blood in Intrauterine Growth Restricted Fetuses”, submitted for presentation at the International Federation of Placenta Associations 2010 meeting. Best Abstract Italian society of perinatal medicine (2011).
